TOP TIER | STATE OF MIND

Who We Are

This video is a behind-the-scenes look at a community gym and the people who make it what it is, filmed and produced by BAW Visuals.

The film explores how a small gym grew from its first member walking in off the street to becoming a strong community of people who train together several times a week. What started with a few trial sessions quickly turned into a core group that forms the foundation of the gym.

Members share how they first discovered the space, what kept them coming back, and how training became more than just fitness. For many, it became a place to build discipline, find direction, and connect with people who genuinely support each other.

The film also highlights the role of the gym’s coach and founder, whose mentorship has had a lasting impact on many of the people who train there. For some, the gym became more than a training space, it became a place of guidance, structure, and stability during important moments in their lives.

Beyond the physical training, the story focuses on the deeper purpose behind the space. The gym is presented not just as a place to train, but as a community where people can grow in confidence, face challenges, and support each other through life outside the gym.

The long-term vision for the gym is also explored, including plans to grow the space, develop younger members into future leaders within the community, and build a self-sustaining environment where the next generation supports those who come after them.

Work in Schools.

I’mPossible State of Mind (IPSM) are offering sessions aimed at an average of 10 students, identified by their school, who would benefit from an external, behavioral support initiative.

IPSM deliver 1 hour sessions (minimum of one per week). Each session will consist of 40 minutes Thai Boxing, followed by 20 minutes of focused group mentoring.

I'mPossible State of Mind Head Quarters

The aim is to use Thai boxing and martial arts to educate the links between physical and mental health complemented by mentoring programs. The HQ will be used to run all projects, community events and a membership-based Thai boxing time table. There will be free sessions available too alongside space for counselling when needed.

What people have to say…

“I was 16 when I first met Mark, I had just moved to London and felt lost and alone. He made me a part of his family, guided me through a way out of struggle, gave me hope and opened my eyes to a future that I could not see before.”

— Asia, aged 18

“For the year (2012-2013) I worked with Mark he was nothing but supportive of me. His constant belief in me as a young boy has helped me grow into the young man I am today & till this day he still checks in on me making sure I’m doing well.”

— Lamel, aged 22
